בן 41 נשוי לאורטל ואב לשלושה ילדים, סגן ראש העיר בת-ים, מחזיק בתיק הספורט ובתיק החופים ואחראי על הצעירים בעיר.

בשנת 2012 הצטרף למפלגת יש עתיד ומכהן כראש המטה בעיר בת-ים.

בשנים האחרונות עסק ביזמות חברתית, ייסד את עמותת "תיק לכל תלמיד" שמעניקה מידי שנה עשרות אלפי תיקים לילדים ממשפחות מעוטות יכולת על מנת שיפתחו את שנת הלימודים באופן שווה כמו כולם. העמותה פועלת כיום בלמעלה מ-95 רשויות בישראל.

הוביל מאבק לפיקוח והוזלת מחירי הצהרונים  שבסופה סבסדה מדינת ישראל את מחירי הצהרונים במאות שקלים בחודש.

בעבר ספורטאי מקצועי בענף הג'ודו, חבר נבחרת ישראל ויצג את המדינה בתחרויות בינלאומיות שונות, זכה באליפות ישראל ואליפות גביע אירופה שהתקיימה בברלין.
