הבטחנו ומקיימים: צעד ראשון בדרך לחוק דמי אבטלה לעצמאים

יש עתיד מקדמת כבר שנים את נושא העצמאים, היום עשינו צעד חשוב. הצעת החוק דמי אבטלה לעצמאים אושרה בוועדת שרים לחקיקה ותגיע כבר ביום רביעי הקרוב למליאת הכנסת לקריאה טרומית.
זה חוק פשוט: עצמאים יהיו זכאים לדמי אבטלה כמו שכירים. כי מגיע להם, כי כל החיים הם שילמו למדינה, כי הגיע הזמן לדאוג להם.
הצעת החוק שאושרה ומוביל ח"כ  בועז טופורובסקי וגם זו שמוביל אביר קארה מימינה, הן לא רק קיום הבטחה של יש עתיד, אלא תיקון עוול היסטורי ביחסה של המדינה אל המגזר שמשלם הכי הרבה ומקבל הכי מעט.
העצמאים הם המנוע של המשק הישראלי. כל אחת ואחד מהם הפכו רעיון לעסק שנותן תעסוקה לעובדים ומיסים למדינה. הם ראויים מאיתנו לא רק לתודה, אלא לרשת ביטחון כלכלית בסיסית.
התהליך התחיל, ואנחנו נעבוד ללא לאות עד שהוא יושלם. הממשלה הנוכחית משנה את המציאות, גם ביחס המדינה לעצמאים.
